NARCA 2015 Spring Collection Conference

NARCA 2015 Spring Collection Conference

We are pleased and excited to announce that we will be sponsoring and exhibiting at this year’s National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) Spring Collection Conference in Nashville Tennessee!

Our founder, Nico Becerra, has been involved with NARCA for many years, attending conferences and even speaking at one of their events on Operations Management and how to increase collector performance. After developing the site for over a year, it’s only natural that we unveil this new tool to the industry at the NARCA Conference.

There are many different organizations that are working diligently to protect the interests of collectors. But the work that NARCA does and the level of involvement that the principals of the organization have is rivaled by none. As you know, we did a post on the current President of NARCA, Joann Needleman. You can read that post here if you haven’t already! The individuals and the members of this organization are some of the brightest legal minds in our industry. And twice a year they gather at their Spring and Fall Collection Conference to discuss hot topics, address the current state of the industry, and network with their colleagues and new members.

We can’t say enough about their involvement with government agencies such as the CFPB, as well as their work in local governments, working to protect the rights of creditors and collectors. If you haven’t been paying attention to what they’ve done and what they continue to do, visit their website here to learn all about it!

This year’s Spring Conference is jam packed with fantastic speakers addressing important topics that are affecting us all in our everyday lives as collectors.

Here’s a snapshot of some topics that will be covered this week at NARCA;

  • A View from the Bench – Local and Regional Trends : The panel includes three esteemed judges from Tennessee
  • Determining Statute of Limitations – There is no “Easy Button” : The panel includes three industry leading professionals, including President Needleman
  • Constructing Policies, Procedures and Work Instruction for Resource Challenged Firms : A great way to learn how to execute solid plans with limited resources
  • How to Protect Your Small Firm by Keeping Your Vendors Compliant : Tips and practical advice on how small firms can monitor their vendors and stay compliant
  • And much, much more!

The information that is shared at these conferences can really help you improve and perfect your strategies to meet the current demands of your clients and your local governing bodies.

We know it’s not always easy to take time off from work to partake in these conferences. But we truly believe that if you aren’t a current member of NARCA, that as a collection lawyer or even an agency looking to get more insight and support, you should find a way to get involved. NARCA offers a variety of membership opportunities to those who want to be involved, you can learn all about them and the benefits of membership by visiting this page on their site.

If you can’t make it to the NARCA Conference this week, feel free to join in on the discussion and stay up to date by joining our NARCA Spring Conference Group where we will be posting updates, photos, and content from the conference! And if you are in attendance, stop by Booth #47 to learn more about us and what we can offer your business. We’ll also be raffling off some items and handing out some great gear to take back to your team!
